Andrea Segal joins fishRecruit after more than 15 years working with the pharmaceutical industry in client service, marketing, and medical education positions. Andrea brings her passion for connecting people, approachable nature, attention to detail and industry experience to recruitment.

Most recently, Andrea worked in medical education and event marketing in oncology where she managed both live and online educational programs in Canada, the US and Europe. In this role, worked closely with the brand, sales and medical education teams at AstraZeneca, Merck, Pfizer, Amgen, and Celgene. Andrea spent more than 7 years working with Teva Canada on national sales conferences, pharmacist communication programs and digital marketing initiatives for pharmacy professionals. Andrea held earlier positions working in client service roles at healthcare marketing agencies involved in the brand strategy and tactical execution of marketing initiatives for cardiovascular, pain management, psychiatry, and dermatology brands. She has worked closely with many cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, medical, CME and regulatory and health care professionals during her career.

Andrea holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Several years after beginning her career, Andrea received her Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.

What do you enjoy doing on the weekend?
Andrea loves spending time with her husband and 2 young boys. Andrea loves to travel, cook a gourmet meal for family and friends and spend time outside walking or biking or simply exploring the city.
